MONDAY & TUESDAY UPDATE ON GANGAA - EPISODE 535--538 ON ADOM TV

At home, Savitri was angry that Pratab would now be known as a murderer. Pratab laughed hysterically, then breaks into cry calling himself unlucky. He wanted to kill Shiv but Sagar was shot instead. Pratab tells Savitri he won’t leave Shiv alive. Savitri tells him to leave this place for now, she gets teary and says she wants him to be the MathaDesh. She prays for Sagar’s life, and wish Ganga leaves.

In the OT, doctors remove bullets from Sagar’s chest. Ganga was crying outside, recalling her times with Sagar. She recalls her hairline being filled by Shiv, his care and love for her. Shiv comes closer as she was badly crying. He tells her not to worry, Sagar would be fine. Ganga requests him to
save her Sagar, she owes him a lot but this last favor please. Shiv brings his hands forward to hold her joint hands, and tells him to have faith on God. She asks Shiv to call Banaras. She tells him about Niru’s number to call Bapu, then goes to doctor to ask about Sagar. The doctor says he is conscious, they will shift him in ICU so that she can see him.

Ganga comes to the ICU, and comes to sit beside Sagar. Sagar removes his oxygen mask and holds her hand. He was happy she recalled her memory just because of the bullet. Ganga tells him not to speak. Sagar says he can bear a thousand such bullets. Sagar begins panting and tells her Krishna is also missing. Ganga was taken aback at the news, she tells him not to worry as they will find Krishna together. Sagar’s condition had begun to worsen. Ganga puts the oxygen mask and goes calling the doctor. She runs back to Shiv. The doctor comes to the room and asks if they didn’t get the medicines. Ganga goes to look for Shiv. Savitri and Kushal had come there too and watches Ganga asking Shiv about the medicine. Savitri thinks if Ganga has recollected her memory. The nurse takes the medicines inside. Ganga insists to come in. Ganga sits on a bench reassuring herself nothing would happen to Sagar. Madhvi calls from behind.

Ganga runs to hug Madhvi and cries. Madhvi asks about Sagar, Ganga says he got a bullet shot. Madhvi assures Ganga Sagar would be fine. Ganga asks Madhvi about Niru. Madhvi breaks into cry. Ganga asks where Niru is. Madhvi tells Ganga that the storm ended everything, she and Krishna had lost; Sagar never returned, Niru couldn’t bear this and left them due to heart attack. They tried to find them all. Sagar only called two days ago to inform he found Ganga and wanted her to inform Niru about it. Ganga mourns Niru placing her head in Madhvi’s lap. The nurse comes out and gives them a list of medicines. Shiv takes the prescription. The doctor allows them to go inside, but one at a time. Madhvi goes inside first. Sagar removes his oxygen mask as Madhvi complains if he didn’t miss her at all. Sagar requests Madhvi to listen to him, he has less time left. Sagar wanted to speak to her about an important matter and asks to call Shiv. Ganga says only Ganga can make Sagar fine, nothing would happen to him if Ganga is near to him.

There, Sagar begins to breathe hard again. Ganga comes to the room. Shiv goes to call the doctor. Madhvi and Ganga both cry as Sagar didn’t move. Doctor comes in announcing Sagar is no more.

PRECAP: Shiv asks what’s happening to Ganga. The ladies there say she is a widow and no one would keep her. Shiv makes a cut over his hand and announces Ganga as his wife.

Everyone stood shattered at the last rituals of Sagar. Shiv was upset and stood outside, while Ganga only sat on the floor broken. He asks Ganga to go inside as it’s really late. Ganga didn’t respond. Shiv felt pity over her, then goes to sit with the wall.

The next morning, ladies called Ganga curse. Madhvi was also crying nearby. The ladies call Shiv lucky that she wasn’t married to Shiv. Kushal stops Shiv from taking any action, he has no right over Ganga and the ladies would say false words and bring disgrace to Ganga if he interferes. Madhvi comes to take a leave from Savitri, Shiv and Kushal. Ganga stops her ready to come with her. Madhvi pushes Ganga away aggressively and says the ladies are right in whatever they say, she is cursed and destroyed her whole family. Niru and Sagar both
left the world because of Ganga. She now has no relation with their family. She recalls Sagar wanted Ganga to marry Shiv as his last wish. He had taken Shiv’s promise in this regard as well. Madhvi thinks she must do this for her Sagar’s promise, she has hurt Ganga but for Ganga’s happiness. She looks towards Shiv and leaves.

Savitri nods at the widow ladies who remove sindoor off Ganga’s hairline. They were removing her bangles. Shiv asks what this all is about a s the ladies pushed Ganga’s hands over a stone to break her bangles. Savitri says Ganga is a widow now, she must stay away from all these jewels and makeup. Shiv was hurt recalling Ganga’s love for the bangles he had gifted her. He stops the ladies, then beats his hand for it to bleed refilling Ganga’s hairline with his blood. He announces Ganga would live as his wife. Kushal was happy.

Savitri asks Shiv if this is a game, even Sagar’s mother left her as she is cursed widow. He must not change the norms. Ganga must stay in white only, till death. Shiv doesn’t let Savitri remove the sindoor mark off Ganga’s forehead and says this is wrong for her to remove this. Ganga remembers all the events in past few days. Shiv gets a call from inspector and assures to reach there. He informs inspector has arrested someone in the matter. Savitri wish Pratab has completed her work. Ganga announces she doesn’t accept this wedding. The widow questions Savitri about varied rules for her family and the villagers. Savitri thinks Sagar has left Ganga in a huge trouble.

Shiv was shocked to see Pratab sitting in the police station. He was enraged and says he could never dream of his younger brother being a murderer and questions why Pratab shot Sagar. He slaps Pratab hard. The inspector comes to tell Shiv Pratab caught the boy who shot Sagar and robbed them. Shiv accepts his mistake for suspecting Pratab. Pratab smirks its really easy to bully Shiv and recalls giving a huge amount of money to the man for accepting the charge over him. Shiv grabs the collar of the man, Pratab and inspector stops Shiv.

Outside the police station, Pratab apologizes Shiv and says he really respects Shiv. Brothers have arguments but he cares for his family a lot. He realizes he had strayed the right path, but he wants to regain the love of his brother. He made a false will because Shiv didn’t trust him. he hands Shiv a shoe to hit him.

The villager men come to show others the woman Ganga. They protest in front of Savitri they won’t leave without an answer about the injustice.

PRECAP: Ganga denies marrying Shiv. She wants to live as the widow of Sagar. The Panchait decides if Ganga isn’t ready to live with Shiv for a month, not only she but the whole Jhaa family must leave the village.

Shiv leaves Pratab beating himself. Pratab was happy that villagers are his side this time.
There, villagers cursed Ganga for ruining the respect of the whole village. They had moved to attack Ganga but Shiv comes between. The villagers demand Shiv of justice. Shiv says they are thinking it all wrong. The villagers call Shiv MathaDesh, and someone like him can never be a MathaDesh. One of them throw a stone that hits Ganga’s head. Shiv comes to wrestle the villagers. Savitri thinks she must now stop this fight and leave the matter to Panchayat.

Everyone goes to Panchayat. The widows accuse Shiv for marrying a widow. The villagers demand for justice for themselves. Shiv says fate made him and Ganga meet, he married on his father’s consent but had to take the responsibility of his wife. Whatever
he has done is not against their believes. The villagers accuse Ganga for agreeing to stay with Shiv even when Sagar was alive. Ganga speaks that she was and she is pure today, she considered herself as Shiv’s wife because she was told so. Now, she denies accepting Shiv as her husband. Everyone including Shiv was shocked. Ganga says she didn’t remember anything, but now she recognizes herself. She doesn’t accept being Shiv’s wife. She wants to live as Sagar’s widow, it is her right and no one can take this right from her. She accuses Shiv for filling her hairline without her consent. She is used to living in white dress, fate has again brought her with widows. She always wanted to fight for the rights of widows, today she demands her right as a widow. Savitri sides Ganga, and says society would never accept the relation between Shiv and Ganga.

The Panchayat member stops Ganga and says Shiv filled her hairline. They realize Shiv and Ganga stayed within a single roof, they can’t part ways so easily. Sindoor has a value in their eyes. Ganga asks what he means. The Panch says they have decided that Shiv and Ganga must stay with each other for one month; during this time they must decide if they want to live together or part ways. Panchait would then decide upon their consent. Savitri questions how her son can marry a widow, Ganga also denies accepting this decision. She wants to live as Sagar’s widow. The Panch announces the punishment for Ganga. Ganga was ready to accept any of the punishments. The member announces not only Ganga but the whole Jhaa family must leave the village. Savitri thinks the matter is being ruined. The Panchait announces a boycott against their family if they don’t accept the decision of Panchait.

Savitri comes to Ganga and cry in front of her, requesting to come along her. She pleads for not being able to bear such disgrace only because of Ganga. Ganga agrees to go with Savitri and accepts Panchait’s decision.

Savitri comes home. Riya stood with the thaal to welcome Ganga inside. Ganga denies being her sister in law. She clarifies to Riya she would only stay in this house for one month. Dai Maa sits to pour water in red color. Ganga cries watching it as she remembers her wedding with Sagar. Shiv had come to stand behind her. She was disturbed by all the recent developments. She walks inside the house without stepping into the color and goes to pour water over herself washing her sindoor off. She announces a widow is never welcomed into the house.

PRECAP: Ganga removes her bangles and asks Shiv for a while dress. Shiv brings Ganga Astia of Sagar. Ganga requests him not to fill her life with colors.

Ganga turns to Shiv and clarifies she would leave this house after a month. Shiv stops Riya from going behind her, he requests his family not to force Ganga. They hear a clatter in the room and stops his family from going there. Ganga throws her item, bangles and other luggage off the cup board and says these doesn’t belong to her. Shiv picks her favorite bangles from the floor and asks what she lost. Ganga turns around and asks him for a white saree. She comes to him and clarifies she wants to be Sagar’s widow, how can he snatch this right. Shiv recalls Sagar’s last wish that Ganga always be a bride. He tells Ganga she is the daughter in law of this house, it’s difficult for her to forget whatever happened but they can begin new relations. Ganga interrupts saying she doesn’t wish to join any new
relation. She denies staying in the room and brings her bag outside, she announces she would stay in this yard for one month. She is doing whatever she considers right. She cries sitting there on the floor.

In the evening, Shiv thinks everything has changed. He smiles recalling his times with Ganga. Kushal comes to speak to Shiv that Ganga considers him as a culprit of Sagar. He must share with Ganga about Sagar’s promise. Shiv forbids Kushal to share this with Ganga. Kushal says she would always hold him culprit. Shiv says Ganga has a self-respect, she would be burdenize and broken if she finds about Sagar’s promise. Shiv says he didn’t understand himself as much as he understands Ganga. It is time that would heal Ganga’s wounds, he will try to bring her back to life. Kushal wonders till when he would bear her anger, Shiv says until she makes up with him.

Ganga cries thinking about her childhood with Sagar. Shiv sat in the other room. Dai Maa brings food for Ganga and requests her to eat a little. Ganga cries denying to eat. Dai Maa places the foot plate and leave. Shiv sat with Ganga’s bangles in hand. Ganga thinks about Sagar and cries.

Kushal comes to Shiv to inform about all the arrangements for tomorrow. He asks Shiv to come home, but Shiv was still in Math. Shiv wish what he wants to do tomorrow must happen well. Shiv returns home to find Ganga sleeping with her head on grain bags. He covers her with a shawl.

Ganga wakes up the next morning and finds herself covered in the shawl. She tells Dai Maa to take the tea. Dai Maa says Shiv made this tea for her, and says it’s for her better. Shiv comes in with the bucket of water. Ganga comes to forbid him bring this tea and biscuit for her again, she doesn’t accept this. It suffocates her that he filled her hairline with sindoor. She asks why he went against her will if he really cared for her. Shiv brings the plate of tea and biscuit for Ganga and requests her to eat this, later they need to go somewhere as well. Ganga throw the plate on floor denying to go with him. Shiv holds her hand and drags her to the car, and tells Dai Maa to get some fruits to the car. She would eat if she is hungry on the way. He carries Ganga to the car in spite of her resistance and ties her hands. Riya and Kushal comes to inform Shiv its done, and hurries inside. Jhumki and Savitri were skeptic.

Shiv brings Ganga to a temple and hands her a bag. Ganga opens the bag to find Sagar’s astia. She cries holding the pot.

PRECAP: Ganga shows Shiv her mangal sooter. She says if he passes all his testimonies in the next 7 days she will wear this, else he must spare her from this relation.
