Gabriela brings to the notice of Sofia that she’s never going to set eyes on her baby again because as a matter of fact, that child no longer exists but painfully, she refuses to accept and Eva comes in and consoles her not to pay attention to her mother because all she wants to achieve is her downfall and she goes ahead to encourage her to be calm. Gabriela then tells Sofia not to forget that Eva was the one who opened doors for those wicked brothers with the aim of destroying their family and Sofia also mentions to her that it wasn’t so and even though Eva happens not to be her biological mother, she has always been by their side and did everything that she (Gabriela) never did for them as a mother.
Fernando later returns and he happens to find Gabriela looking so terrified and he asks why and she explains that the bathroom door was locked and she called for him severally but he never responded and such things are unbearable for her that she almost suffocated to death. He then calms her and gives a report that Franco has managed to get the water flowing of his farms again and furiously, she grabs her bag and steps out to query him. As she leaves, Fernando sits back and excitingly says to himself that he never knew locking Gabriela up could be her weakness.
Sofia takes Eva to the shop she opened with her sisters and upon their arrival, she informs Sarah who happens to be operating it alone due to the crisis her sisters are facing that, she wants Eva to join and help them out with anything they may need but Sarah refuses to allow it due to Eva’s betrayal and Eva turns to explain herself and ask for her forgiveness.
Gabriela gives a very strong warning to Franco never to use the water again but he makes her to understand that it will never work because they have the right to use it since it’s their property and Mr. Augustine also stops by andcautions Gabriela to be careful else she’ll end up in trouble. Gabriela then notifies them that the reason why the late Mr. Osei gave her power over the water was because she was his mistress and even though he happened to marry the late Mrs. Osei, she (Gabriela) was the one his father truly loved and Franco tells her it’s a lie.
Nora is being offered a place where she can stay and carry on with her job but she gets a hint that the fetish priest has testified to the entire township against her that, if they should come to her for any medication whatsoever, they’ll die and she gets stunned. On the other hand, the MP tells the fetish priest to either finish Nora or send her out of the town if she should go contrary to their plans.
Franco goes to the sisters’ shop to deliver the divorce papers to Sarah and he states to her that though he has finally given her the freedom she asked for, her love will forever remain in his heart and this gets her so sad.
Gabriela finally goes to inform Eva who her real daughter is and she brings to her awareness that it was that daughter of hers she used in exchange of the lands she acquired from Raquel and she’s no other than Ruth, the current daughter of Raquel. She then added that her reasons for spilling out the truth is because Raquel and her family are gone for good and so, she can never locate them anywhere, not to even think of seeing that daughter of hers for the rest of her life.
Otafrigya visits Mr. Alex at the cells and he tells him everything is moving on well as he ordered and Fernando has been warned not to mess up. Mr. Alex then asks him to keep an eye on Franco as well because he’s sure he might be facing some challenges due to the absence of his brothers and he assures to do so.
Fernando asks Gabriela as to why a brave woman like her was so terrified of just being locked up and she says to him that it’s has been her great weakness since childhood and anytime she’s being locked up all alone, it feels like she has been buried alive and no one even knows about it.
The fetish priest summons the whole township at night with Nora being tied up for sacrifice and one man steps out and asks the priest to wait till they get a signal from the gods before they commence and as they wait patiently, John shows up from the bush with a horrified look with bruises all over and everyone’s attention draws to him.
