FRIDAY UPDATE ON MERI AASHIQUI - EPISODE 45--46 ON JOY PRIME

Scene 1:
Location: Ishaani’s residence
baa distracts ishaani, just in time from opening the room in which ranvir is locked. Ranvir tries desperately to make a nboise, while baa asks ishaani not to wander around and get ready for her engagement instead. As he manages to break the old chandeliers, the noise created distracts ishaani, but baa wards it off as rats and sends her off. ranvir is determined that he wont let ishaani’s life be ruined, and eyes the broken glass chandelier and uses it as a sharp edge, to cut through his ropes, and after much struggle he finally is able to set himself free. He opens the door to find baa standing and duck out by the backgate. baa is angered and calls up someone on the phone, furiously. She starts asking her men to find him out. They tell her that they found ranvir going to ishaani’s room, and stopped him. she asks him to keep him locked, and till after the engagement, he should be kept like that, and shouldnt escape. baa asks chanchal to go and keep an eye, as if he escapes this time, then she wont get her revenge over falguni. chanchal leaves, while disha overhears this.

Chetali tries to tell the news about chirag’s family’s bankruptcy, but she finds noone and even her own husband is unable to understand what she tries to say, by her signals, as she has been on a silence fast by baa. She is frustrated and is determined to tell it to someone somehow. she goes to baa and gets the permission to talk. Chetali finally blurts out the truth that the jeweller told her to Baa, who’s shocked to find that chetali knows about chirag’s financial status. She pretends to feign innocence, and then asks for the jewellere’s number, and thereafter reprimands her for speaking and gives an additional punishment for not telling anyone about the jewellery till the marriage, or else she would lose all her jewellery to chanchal.

As ishaani is dressed by falguni, they have a hearty emotional mother-daughter chat. falguni says that she is happy that now ishaani would finally be able to get rid of the illegitimate affair. ishaani however is sad about ranvir, and tells this to falguni, when asked. Falguni asks her to focus on chirag and his family, rather than the servant. But ishaani tries to emphasise how important ranvir’s friendship is to her. She emphasises how imprtant friendship is to her, and how ranvir would always be special for her, and she misses her terribly today.

Downstairs, harshad feels ranvir’s loss in arranging all the preps. falguni asks whats the problem. He tells about ranvir’s absence. She is tensed, and asks him to concentrate on her daughter’s function and not on the servant of this house.

Scene 2:
Location: On the road
Chirag makes his parents take a wrong turn, and makes them wonder whats wrong. Chirag stops at garima’s house, and she comes out tensed to find him dressed like that. He says that he is going for his engagement, but wont go if she doesnt allow him to. he says that he doesnt want anything, if she doesnt like it. she gives him permission to go aheasd, while he assures her that he is going through all this for her and their child. she is convinced and hugs him. chirag however smiles evilly. Chirag finally comes and tells about his trap, to chirag’s parents, as to how only he is important for himself, neither garima nor ishaani.

Scene 3:
Location: Ishaani’s residence
finally chirag arrives with his family, and is given a hbearty welcome by falguni and her family. chetali continues to hint at chirag’s mother’s jewellery, and finally baa’s stare silences her. they are taken inside. Sherman is shocked to see sameera, his childhood friend’s fiancee, who is the same girl who had slapped him pretending to be his girlfriend at his bachelorette party. she is shocked too. The friend is surprised whether they both know each other.

Meanwhile, Disha comes to the garage and lies to baa’s men that she has been instructed by baa to lock the garage and they have been relieved. The screen freezes on her tensed face.

Precap: Baa asks disha to tell the truth. Disha is scared to find that baa is furious as she takes lighted incense candlesticks, and threatens disha that she would burn her hands, while she continues to rant that she isnt lying..

Chaitali sees Sharman with the girl and she feels she has seen her before, but Sharman saves her saying she just returned from London.

Disha finds Ranveer and frees him. He hurriedly asks whether Ishaani got engaged. She says no and he rushes to go there.

Ishaani comes down. Chirag looks at her. Harshad tells Chirag’s parents he loves Ishaani a lot and asks them to take care of her. Falguni gets emotional and starts crying. Ishaani reminds her she told her that she will cry. Falguni says it’s her daughter’s engagement, she will do whatever comes in her heart. Chirag comes and holds Ishaani’s hand. They proceed for ring ceremony. Baa is getting curious and wants the engagement to do as soon as possible.

Chirag almost puts the ring in Ishaani’s finger when Garima’s dad comes there and says to stop the engagement. Ranveer also arrives, but he stops at the door. Garima’s dad tells Harshad if he loves Ishaani, then stop the engagement. Chirag is a big fraud. Baa interrupts and says anyone will come and ask to stop engagement, will they stop then? Ranveer now comes forward and tells Harshad that Garima’s dad is right. He tells Garima’s dad to say everything, he’s with him. Chirag and his parents are all worried, while Ishaani and other family members are in a shocked state. Garima’s dad tells everyone how he heard Chirag and Garima’s conversation when Chirag told her he will return to her. He’s marrying for money only and after he gets money, he will leave Ishaani. If this engagement happens, then along with Ishaani, Garima’s life will be spoilt too.

Harshad goes to Chirag and asks if that’s true. Before he says anything, Harshad warns him not to lie as he will investigate this matter by himself. Chirag accepts that this is the truth. Falguni is shocked and almost faints. The ring, that was gone half way in Ishaani’s finger, falls down. Chaitali goes to her. Harshad slaps Chirag and asks how dare he to destroy Ishaani’s life. Chirag’s dad can’t see it and asks Harshad to stop. Chirag’s parents fume and tell Harshad he should be thankful to them else who would marry an illegitimate child like Ishaani. They were going to give their name to her. Harshad gets angry and says she may not be his real daughter, but she means his life to him. Devarsh loses his cool and starts beating up Chirag. All other boys join in, and even Ranveer slaps Chirag in end. Chirag’s dad asks Harshad to stop them and he will see who marries Ishaani. Harshad says he will find such a boy that whole world will keep seeing. Chirag and family are finally thrown out. Ishaani runs to her room. Disha is happy as she succeeded breaking Ishaani’s engagement, and hence herself from getting insulted.

All ask her to open the door. She doesn’t say anything. Ranveer tells her Harshad is so worried, will she make him worried? Still no reply from her. Ranveer says he will break the door. Just then Ishaani opens the door and says sorry to Harshad saying she was changing her clothes. She wasn’t comfortable in those heavy clothes. She asks Harshad to distribute all food in poors else it will be wasted. Harshad tells that to Ranveer and asks her to say it all out. She thanks him and walks away. All family members watch her. Falguni cries. Harshad gives her a support. Ranveer looks at Ishaani and tum hi ho tune plays..

Precap: Baa tells Harshad he did all he could. He brought a good rishta with his money power, reputation, but one cannot buy destiny with money.
